Indoor Arena Lease
Those who don't have the time or budget to buy or adopt their own horse can consider a monthly lease on one of our wonderful horses here at True Heart Equine Enrichment Center! We provide a variety of Leasing options to suit every type of rider. When we go to shows or trail rides, Lessees have first option to go with! If you are leasing one of our horses as it comes up for sale, you get first option to buy!
Interested in having a horse all to yourself but not having to pay all the extra added costs associated with horse ownership?
I have horses that are gentle as can be, actively enjoy their jobs, and are trained for just about anything; They have done guided trail rides, lessons, fun shows, extreme trail competition, cattle events, therapy riding, jumping, and have carried flags in parades for veteran events. As I have many options, this would be available to either children or adults, and the time allotted depends on the experience of the rider and if you need to be supervised or not.
We are close to Greencastle area, riding all year is possible. Riding lessons and show coaching are readily available; Our show team goes to events all year long and lessees who take lessons have first option to come with to events and trail rides and camping weekends.
And if you try one horse but would like to move to another, you are not locked in to a single horse!
I personally teach western but the horses are used to both english AND western so you are more than welcome to use which ever discipline is most comfortable to you.
Leasing is a really good option to get more into horses without buying one right away, and you only have to worry about one monthly cost.
An Indoor Arena Lease for the winter entitles you coming out to the facility 3-5 days a week, and you can spend the whole day with your horse, if you wish.
Your horse will be boarded in a pasture, but you are able to ride in the indoor arena we rent once a week and out on the trails located just outside our fences, & in the pasture itself. There are trails located on the property, but you are also able to ride the roads (very quiet gravel roads). You will be expected to be able to catch, groom, care, and tend to your horse by yourself.
You should already have the necessary skills to ride and care for a horse. The horse you are leasing will not be shared with an other individual, but will continue to be used for our own use, such as riding lessons and attending competitions.
A Pasture Lease entitles you coming out to our winter pasture just down the road 3-5 days a week, and you can spend the whole day with your horse, if you wish.
Your horse will be boarded in a pasture on private property, so you are expected to uphold our respectfulness to the property owners. You are able to ride the trails and roads or the surrounding countryside as long as you wish to ride. You will be expected to be able to catch, groom, care, and tend to your horse by yourself.
You should already have the necessary skills to ride and care for a horse. The horse you are leasing may be shared with an other individual, but will be available on pre-agreed scheduled days. (you won't have to worry about not being able to ride.)
