Freyja is our resident sassy haffie. She has done guided trail rides, lessons, fun shows, extreme trail competition, cattle events, therapy riding, jumping, and has carried flags in parades for veteran events and presented flags at rodeo opening ceremonies. She has gone just about everywhere and done everything with us! She has a fire to her and is great for kids or adults.

Full Day Horse Camp 

Campers ages 8-18

A horse intense beginner through intermediate wrangler day camp for youth ages 10-18. This camp is for anyone from beginner to intermediate riders.The program runs from 8:00 a.m. til 3:00 p.m. 

Campers will not only learn about horses, but will also learn how horses think and how horses can teach the camper. Having fun and being safe while leading, saddling and riding a horse are a top priority. The day will include horseback riding along with other fun activities in the barn like horse chores, crafts, and bonding with fellow campers on ground work training. Intermediate riders have the ability to add basics learned in beginner classes and add skill such has how to balance and feet placement, leads and loping, bareback riding and learning the jumping basics

Camp Cost: $300  

  • Register before May 30, 2019 and save $20!
  • Drop your camper off by 8 a.m. all week for an additional $25, bring a breakfast snack.
  • Can't make it to camp by 3:00 p.m.? No problem Pick your camper up by 6:00 p.m. all week for an additional $25, snack included.
  • Multi-child and multi-camp discounts available. 
  • If parents or family members over age 18 are interested in staying for camp, we allow volunteer time to decrease cost of camp. Every day you sign up for takes $10 off that day of camp. However we do need to know ahead of time as volunteer slots fill up quickly, and you will need to attend 1 hr volunteer orientation June 3-5.

The week will end with a horse show for the parents. Campers will receive a picture of themselves with one of the horses they rode during camp, a T-shirt, and a certificate.


  • We will allow a grace period of 15 minutes for drop off and pick up times. If drop-off or pick-up time exceeds 15 minutes, your account will be charged the early drop off or pickup fee of $25 for the week. 
  • There are multiple levels of Beginner Horse Day Camp. Each level is designed to match your camper's current proficiency, and allow them to master certain skills before advancing to the next level. Upon completion of each level, campers will receive a certificate detailing the skills they have learned.

Camp registration deadline is two weeks prior to camp start date. Online registration for summer youth camps is preferred. A paper registration form is available if needed. An additional equine waiver is required for all horse camps.
